Qualifications

Guest Vendors must be artists and craftsman selling their own work. All work must be handmade. We accept a wide variety of working including but not limited to: painting, sculptures, photography, ceramics, illustrations, jewelry, woodcrafts, handmade clothing, needlecrafts and machine made items into which a significant had worked embellishment has been added.

Logistics

Market runs every Saturday from 9am to 1pm June 5th through September 25th. This year we will be assigning guest vendor spaces on a first come first serve basis beginning at 7:30 am. Even with the 3 foot health code booth spacing we expect to have at least 20 guest vendor spaces available every week !

The fee to be a guest vendor is $25 per market. To limit contact during covid we ask that the fee be paid by exact cash or check only.

How to Join Us

Park near the intersection of Higgins and Pine and head west on Pine Street. Locate our market tent which will have a Missoula Peoples Market banner and be set up near Thomas Meagher Bar. Arrive at the tent as early as 7am and let our market manager know that you would like to guest vend.

You will be asked to fill out a form with your basic information and sign a liability waiver. Once complete and the $25 fee is paid, you will be randomly assigned an available space. Space letters and numbers are painted on the street. Locate your spot and start setting up!

We do allow you to pull your car in to your space to unload. We require that you load in, go park your car, and then come back to finish your set up. This process will help prevent traffic through the market. Set up needs to be complete when the market opens at 9am.

If you intend to set up a canopy, please note that for safety reasons we require proper weighting. Canopies must be weighted with a minimum of 25 lbs per corner and umbrellas require 50 lbs. Note that shelter is entirely optional and many vendors do choose to forgo them especially on beautiful days.

Guest vending with us is a great opportunity to try you hand at selling your original work in a welcoming and relaxed environment. All experience levels are welcomed. We hope to see you this summer !!!!
